I am a lecturer in British Victorian and modern literature at Arizona State University's Polytechnic campus. I have published on Henry James, Katherine Mansfield, Elizabeth Bowen, and others, and my interests include mapping, space theory, Marxist critique, the history of the novel, and the digital humanities. My book project traces the development of leisure discourse in British literature and visual culture from around 1840 to World War II. I am currently brainstorming a new digital resource about Henry James.
